- Email address — only for accounts created by a workspace administrator with a username and password
Messages & Media
- Text messages sent and received within the app
- Media files (images, videos, documents) shared in conversations
- Message metadata (timestamps, read receipts)
Device Information
- Device tokens for push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Device type and operating system
Call Data
- Call logs (caller, recipient, duration, timestamps)
- Call audio is peer-to-peer and is not recorded or stored on our servers
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver messages and media between users
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Send push notifications for new messages and calls
- Facilitate audio calls between contacts
- Maintain and improve the service
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (Firebase Privacy)
- Twilio Verify — delivery of one-time sign-in codes by SMS or WhatsApp; Twilio processes your phone number for that purpose (Twilio Privacy)
- Media storage — photos, voice notes and videos you send are stored on our own servers and served through expiring private links
- Our TURN relay — audio call connectivity on our own infrastructure (no call content is stored)
4. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Messages and media are retained until deleted by users or until account deletion
- Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls to protect your data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Opt out of push notifications via device settings
